Description

We are looking for a part-time Bookkeeping and Admin to support our operations. In your rule, your contributions will focus on overseeing the project's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. You will perform daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments,  also assist with basic HR duties

You are our perfect candidate if you are self-managed and used to working in a high-tech (remote) environment, and are excited to learn how to use new tech/tools.

What you will do

Deliver a full range of accounting, including liaising with local country 3rd party accountants and consultants

Deliver timely and accurate accounting reports and metrics

Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices

Responsible for recording and maintaining business financial transactions, such as purchases, expenses, invoices, and payments.

Analyze financial information and provide it to 3rd party providers

Requirements

• knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools, Xzero accounting sys a plus 
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of professionalism, organizational and analytical skills
• Self-learner and highly motivated individual
• Experience in wires/payments (Credit Cards / Online Wires / Wallets) handling - Advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting required
• The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a similar role

Nice to have

• Previous experience in crypto and/or in a startup is a strong positive (but not a must)
• You are contributing to other DAOs and projects, or plan to 😄

Commitment

• Compensation will be 2000 USD / month.
• The expected commitment is around 24 hours a week / 96 hours a month
• You should be able to attend team/community calls on Thursday, 9 AM EST
